All for a Dragon's Heart

~~Chapter 1 - Reignite~~

   *Sigh* "I don't know what to do." Lisanna said, lounging around her and Mira's apartment. Mira could tell something else was wrong, more than simply being bored.

   "What's wrong Lisanna? You don't seem like yourself." she asked.

   Lisanna responded "I don't know... maybe... I.. I miss spending time with Natsu. Nothing’s the same anymore and I don't know what to do."

   Mira knew what she meant, most of the guild could tell that Natsu had built a deep connection with Lucy even though the two of them didn't acknowledge it. It was obvious to her that Lisanna still had feelings for Natsu, and was just too sweet to try to butt into Natsu and Lucy's relationship. Mira decided to act now "Lisanna, I know it's more than that you and I both know you still want to be with him, and I know you don't want to take him away from Lucy, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try to be close to him again."

   "I don't know..." she trailed off

   "Lisanna, it won't hurt anyone to get close to him, and with you the way you're handling it now there's nothing to lose." Mira said looking at Lisanna with a smile.

   "You know what you're right, how could spending time with him again do any wrong" Lisanna said with almost a tone of triumph "I'm going to the guild to find Natsu!" and she ran out of the building joyfully.

   "Somehow I feel like that was too easy." Mira said mildly confused

-------------------------------------------At the Guild-------------------------------------------

   "Hey Natsu!" Lisanna shouted

   "What's up Lisanna?" Natsu replied with a smile. Lisanna spotted his smile and thought he was happy to see her, causing her to begin to blush.

   "Well I was wondering, could we go on a job together? It's been so long."

   "Sure, I'll just have to tell my team that I'm going."

   "Alright, I'll be over by the request board."

   Natsu went over to Lucy and asked her "Hey Lucy have you seen Gray and Erza? I needed to tell all of you that I'm going on a job with Lisanna."

   Lucy picked on him "Ooh, going out with you old girlfriend? Hehe."

   Natsu said plainly "What do you mean?"

   "Never mind, and don't worry about the others they're both out on their own jobs."

   "What! Those jerks didn't even tell me, I thought we were a team, we're supposed to at least tell each other when we leave!"

   "Natsu, that doesn't mean they have to tell you every time they go anywhere. And just so you'll stop pesting, Gray went with Juvia, but maybe he didn't want you shouting about it all over Magnolia. And Erza went on a request she thought might be linked to Crime Sorciere, one that she didn't need help for, and even though we will always support her there are times she has to go alone, knowing you if she had said something she wouldn't have gotten that."

   Ashamed of himself "I'm sorry, I didn't realize, but are you going to be alright here alone?"

   "I've got the other girls here, and if you're going with Lisanna I doubt she will want you to bring Happy."

   "Why would you say that? She loves Happy." he said clueless as ever.

   "Natsu, I don't think you've noticed, but what if Lisanna just wants to get close to you again after being gone for two years, and then all of us losing seven years which made it even harder to readjust? And I might not know her as well as everyone else but I'm pretty sure she's just been faking her usual happy attitude because she doesn't want anyone to worry, plus so much has changed for her she might just want to have alone time with you like she used to."

   "I hadn't thought about any of that, you might be right. Hey Happy!"

   Happy flew over from the other side of the room "Aye Sir!"

   "Happy I'm going on a job with Lisanna..."

   "Great let's go!"

   "Happy, I think you should sit this one out, I want to give her a chance to have this be like old times since we haven't had much of a chance to hangout, even since Edolas."

   "Oh, ok. I see, guess I'll see you later Natsu."

   "Thanks Happy, I'll bring you back some fish."

   "Yay! You're the best Natsu!"

   "Alright, later guys!" As he ran over to Lisanna at the request board. "So find any good ones?"

   "Yeah I found an interesting one. Just over seven years ago huge amounts of natural magic energy flooded a forest near the borders of a few towns and initially it was beneficial, but in the past few months the plant and animal life has begun to absorb far more of it and it's creating a large variety of issues. And get this the reward is 230,000,000 Jewel!"

   "That does sound cool, and that's one heck of a reward, but how are we supposed to stop something that's supposedly natural?"

   "That's probably why no one else has taken it, it's not easy to figure out a solution for this sort of problem. But it also says while the magic energy was natural, it seemed to come out of nowhere, they seem to think wizards might know how to syphon it away, that's what I wonder why no one figured that out and took it."

   Pantherlily walked up "I think I know where that magic may have come from."

   "Really? Tell us." Natsu demanded

   "Well do remember my explanation of what Prince Jellal did to rid Edolas of magic and send us and the rest of the exceeds here?"

   "He reversed the amina to send all the magic to earthland." Lisanna responded

   "Exactly, that request might involve a large quantity of Edolas’s latent magic"

   "Ha! What a great job, it has to do with how we got you back Lisanna."

   Lisanna blushed "Yeah it's perfect for our first job together since my return."

   "Alright! Hey gramps! Were taking this one." as he waved the request sheet in the air and starting to run out of the building.

   Master Makarov simply said "Fine, fine have fun you two."
